The Washington Families Fund (WFF) is a public-private partnership to expand service-enriched affordable housing for homeless families in Washington State. In three funding cycles, WFF has awarded $9.6 million to 28 innovative housing partnerships statewide.

AIDS Housing of Washington has now taken the name Building Changes, to better reflect our new mission and expanding programs.
On January 16, 2008, the Washington Families Fund announced $5.5 million in new grants to 14 different housing and social service projects across the state. These awards will fund an additional 225 units of service-enriched housing for homeless families throughout Washington State.

Shirley Bridge Bungalows Receives AIA Award. The American Institute of Architects has selected Shirley Bridge Bungalows as a 2007 recipient of the Housing Committee Award in the Special Housing category. The award “recognizes the excellence of [the project], and affirms the importance of good housing as a necessity of life, a sanctuary for the human spirit, and a valuable national resource.”
